With 2 tracks in use at the same venue, those attempting to compete in both Truggy And Buggy clearly had their work cut out. The timing of the Finals on Sunday would allow a driver well qualified in Buggy to bump up through Truugy. Not a risk free plan but viable on paper. Unfortunalty we were running on dirt!

Saturday Qualifying was windy and dry. Darren Bloomfield was clearly determined to make up for last year and TQed Rounds 2 and 4, but with a bad round 1 and no shows in rounds 3 and 5 (securing pole in Buggy) there would be work to do bumping up on Sunday morning with Buggy TQ safe.

Mother Nature had other ideas.......

After torrential overnight rain the Truggy track was judged unsafe to Marshall, so Elf and Sayfty put paid to Darren's chances of the Double. Unfortunatley for him the results were declared on Qualifying.

I'm sure Ed Kerry and all the other competitors would have prefered to fight it out on the track
